Hyderabad: The Telangana government has given the green signal for water release to support Kharif (monsoon) crop cultivation. To ensure that farmers do not face any difficulties regarding irrigation, Minister for Irrigation Uttam Kumar Reddy held a special review meeting today at the Secretariat with department officials.

During the meeting, the minister instructed officials to continuously monitor rainfall intensity and take timely action to release water as required. He emphasized the importance of coordination between the Irrigation and Agriculture departments to ensure smooth implementation.

He also directed the officials to take all necessary steps to supply adequate water for Kharif crops and to ensure that farmers do not face any hardships during the cultivation season.
