Hyderabad:
Telangana Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy held a review meeting today at MCHRD with the Independent Expert Committee, chaired by Justice Sudarshan Reddy, appointed to study the caste census initiated by the Praja Government.
During the meeting, the expert committee members appreciated the caste census exercise, describing it as highly scientific, standardised, and credible. They stated that this survey is historic and has the potential to become a role model for the entire nation.
The Chief Minister assured the committee that their suggestions and recommendations would be discussed in the State Cabinet and appropriate steps would be taken accordingly.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy said:
"As per the directions of Shri Rahul Gandhi, and with the goal of ensuring social justice and empowerment of all sections, I take pride in leading the Praja Government in conducting this important and landmark survey."
